Maire Tecnimont launches 5 million 70-year bonds

Maire Tecnimont this morning opened the books for the placement of a bond loan with a duration of 5 years, for a total nominal amount of 70 million euro.

"The placement - reads the note released by the Italian engineering group - will allow the Company to obtain a wider diversification of financial resources and an optimization of the financial structure by raising funds on the capital market".

The company intends to use these funds to finance its business activities, in line with the 2013-2017 business plan.

The news of the launch of the new bond did not help, at least in appearance, the performance of the Maire Tecnimont share, which fell on the Stock Exchange.

The shares of the engineering group lose more than 2% in Piazza Affari in mid-morning, in the wake of the negative performance of the Italian stock exchange.
