Maire Tecnimont has announced that it has signed with the main lending banks (among which Intesa Sanpaolo, Unicredit and Montepaschi stand out) the agreement for the rescheduling of 307 million of debt with the main lending banks and for the granting of new credit lines.
"The agreements - reads the note released by the company - provide for the rescheduling in five years, with a two-year grace period and repayment in six-monthly installments, the last of which on 31 December 2017, of the existing debt for a total of 307 million euros and the granting – by Intesa Sanpaolo, UniCredit, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena – of new finance for a total of 50 million euro, subject to capital increase operations”.
Maire Tecnimont has also convened an extraordinary shareholders' meeting for 6 and 7 June which will have to resolve on the proposals for the capital increase, for a total amount of 150 million euro. Meanwhile, in the morning, the shares of the engineering company gained 4,71% on the Stock Exchange at 0,4691 euros per share.
