Madrid European capital of football: Cholo-Mou ends 0-0, tonight Ancelotti-Guardiola

For two days, Madrid is the undisputed capital of European football: not that usually it isn't one of the most prestigious venues, but in the week immediately following Easter, the Spanish capital hosts the two Champions League semi-finals within 24 hours.

From the duels Simeone-Mourinho and Ancelotti-Guardiola, to the returns of José, Pep and Fernando Torres, passing through the invasion of foreign fans: these are the main themes of this 48 hours, of which the first tranche has already gone. The Cholo-Mou challenge has in fact already been consumed at the Calderon and ended in a draw: a 0-0 which goes well for Chelsea but which absolutely keeps alive the hopes of the colchoneros, who don't concede a goal at home and can therefore play it openly in a week at Stamford Bridge.

Tonight instead it's Carlo Ancelotti's turn, who after bringing home the Spanish Cup, and still in the running to win La Liga, tries to reach his fourth Champions League final as a coach, after three with Milan: on his However, the road will find another multiple winner, Pep Guardiola, who will try to bring Bayern into legend by winning two cups in a row (a feat never achieved by anyone). One thing is certain: football history is being made in Madrid right now.
