Roberta Silva is the new CEO of Flos, a company recently acquired by the Design Holding group, led by the president and CEO Gabriele Del Torchio.
Founded in 1962 in Merano, Flos produces high-end designer lamps and lighting systems for the residential and architectural sectors.
Design Holding, founded last November 2018 by Investindustrial and The Carlyle Group, is active in the high-end interior design sector and, in addition to Flos, includes B&B Italia, Louis Poulsen and Arclinea.
Silva arrives at the top of Flos after having held the position of managing director for Italy of Bose, an American multinational that manufactures high-end designer electronic products. She was also Head of Global Direct Retail Network.
Before joining the group in 2010, Silva had gained extensive experience in Kraft with roles of increasing responsibility.
