“We Argentines have the best raw materials in the world, but you Italians have small-medium businesses that have great experience and professionalism. Furthermore, we need professionals: we lack thousands, while you have them. Every year we have four thousand fewer engineers than we need and the oil industry alone is ready to absorb seven thousand. Argentina has enormous spaces and Italians are welcome”. It is the new president of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, who speaks through an interview with "Corriere della Sera" granted on the occasion of his visit to Pope Francis, whom he defined as "the most important Argentine in the world".
After declaring that with Prime Minister Renzi "good chemistry" started from the very first moment, Macri made a real appeal to Italians, and above all to engineers, professionals and entrepreneurs to go to Argentina, where they will easily find work .
The Argentine president also said that his goals are "to fight poverty and drug trafficking and to reconcile Argentines after too many years of division".
