M5S in Livorno says no to Ciampi: it's not just "delirium", it's barbarism

In the electoral campaign Luigi Di Maio can tell all the fairy tales he wants and perform all the possible and imaginable somersaults on the euro but after what the Five Stars did yesterday in the Livorno city council their credibility, if there was still need for proof after the bankruptcy management of the administration of Rome, it hasn't dropped to zero but it's literally under the heels.

The Grillini councilors had the shamelessness to reject the proposal made by the Democratic Party to name a city park like the Ardenza roundabout after a great Italian and true Livorno native such as the former Governor of the Bank of Italy, former premier and former President of the Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi. But it is the motivation that offends even more: "Ciampi no because he was a man of the banks".

Even the grillino mayor Nogarin was ashamed and ended up abstaining. The Democratic Party speaks of the grillini's "delusion" but the unspeakable gesture made against a gentleman like Ciampi, who has always honored Italy, is much more: it is pure barbarism.
