LVMH unveils the symbolic places of luxury: ateliers open at the weekend around Europe

For two days, Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 October, the world's leading luxury group LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) will open to the public 25 of its most emblematic sites across Europe: in Paris and other regions of France, Spain, the United Kingdom and Poland.

But above all, in Italy, where several brands belonging to the group headed by Bernard Arnault are based. It's about Villa Pucci di Granaiolo in Granaiolo in Tuscany, Palazzo Fendi in Rome and the Manufacture de Souliers Louis Vuitton
of Fiesso d'Artico in the province of Venice.

The initiative was called “les journées particulieres” (special days): these visits will offer guests the opportunity to discover locations of great prestige and history for free, with a unique architectural heritage, where the savoir-faire and talent of the craftsmen in the field are kept and expressed every day, for as regards, for example, Italy, textiles, leather goods, jewelery and watches.

These places are in fact living masterpieces, a magnificent setting of exceptional talents which are expressed in each of the Maisons of the Group, and which is being opened to the public for the first time.

Among other things, the LVMH group has invested heavily in these symbolic places in terms of restoration and enhancement, in order to preserve - and often strengthen - its identity.

But in addition to the place, there is art and excellence, often Italian but not only. The high tradition of wine and spirits can not
be for example separate from the unique land holdings held by the group in, inter alia, Champagne, the Bordeaux region, Charente or Scotland.

I trades in leather goods, textiles, perfumery, jewelery and watchmaking they too have their roots in ancient and fertile lands: Paris and various French provinces, Italy, Switzerland, Spain.

The aim of the initiative is to reveal the roots of high quality: an unparalleled artistic, human and artisanal heritage that LVMH wants to highlight.

The itineraries proposed by the Maisons allow you to discover all their most hidden secrets, those small daily gestures, often unknown to the general public, from which the masterpieces that we all admire behind the windows of the most prestigious shops in the world are born.

Craft demonstrations, conferences and exhibitions they focus on the professions of wine and spirits, fashion and leather goods, perfumery and cosmetics, watchmaking and jewellery. Inside the ateliers, cellars, family homes and historic boutiques, LVMH will share with the public the caskets that hold so much beauty.

Participation in the journèes particulières is free and open to all. However, taking into account the configuration of some places, the visits will take place in small groups and within the limits of available places.
