Venture Group, a holding company operating in the venture capital sector, has announced a partnership with Italy Angels for Growth to support the development of high-potential startups that are part of the accelerator Luiss Enlabs “La Fabbrica delle Startup”, controlled by LVG with the participation of the Luiss University.

The agreement requires LVenture Group to periodically carry out an analysis of the companies contained in its portfolio in order to present the most suitable startups to IAG for possible financing by its shareholders. At the same time, IAG is willing to promote among its members the possibility of supporting startups or aspiring entrepreneurs involved in the acceleration paths of Luiss Enlabs.

LVG has stakes in 33 digital startups with an investment of 4,2 million euros to which must be added 10,6 million from third party investors. IAG has developed, through its shareholders and the involvement of other operators, investments in risk capital for approximately 24 million euros and has contributed to the birth and growth of 28 innovative companies.

Luigi Capello, CEO of LVenture Group and founder of Luiss Enlabs comments: “I am strongly convinced of the importance of the role that Business Angels play in the startup ecosystem, especially in the light of past experiences of co-investments that LVenture Group has already concluded. In addition to financial resources, Business Angels are able to provide young companies with useful skills and networking opportunities".

“LUISS ENLABS is proving to be one of the main forges of innovative startups in our country and we are therefore particularly confident of being able to develop a collaboration that will be able to give significant satisfaction to both partners. On the other hand, relations with LVenture Group are well established having already co-invested in two constantly growing companies such as Qurami and Drexcode” he states Valerio Caracciolo, Vice President of IAG.
