The Handbags x HYPE: The Luxury Remix by Christie's it reached a total of $2.902.000. The sale sold at 97% per lot and 142% above the lowest estimate.
Leading up the sale were a pair of game-worn and doubly-signed Air Jordan XIIIs from the final game of the regular season. Michael Jordan of the Chicago Bulls championship season, sold for $375.000.
Other highlights of the sale include a full collection of Virgil Abloh Nike Off Whites, which he achieved $ 62.500, and a full set of Kanye West Adidas Yeezy 350s, which made $37.500.
The sale also achieved exceptional results for the pieces Hermès, including: a rare Bleu Marine, White, Orange Faubourg Sellier Birkin 20, sold for $175.000.
A rare one Matte White Himalaya Niloticus Crocodile Birkin 35, which reached $137.500; and a Braise Porosus Crocodile Birkin 25, which made $62.500.
Another highlight of the sale was MBD: a bulletproof vest Signed DONDA and 1-of-1 NFT, sold for $75.000.
This two-part lot included the physical bulletproof vest worn by Kanye West during his August 2021 listening event and a 1-of-1 NFT, the first to be offered in a luxury sale at Christie's.
Further important results have been obtained for a Supreme pinball machine, sold for $52.500;
and a Coco Chanel Bearbrick, which exceeded its highest estimate by more than three times and sold for dollars 35.000; and a set of five Pearl x Supreme drum kits, which made $16.250.
