Luxottica, hypothesis Marco Bizzarri (ex Bottega Veneta) new co-CEO

Venetian relay in the luxury sector? According to the indiscretion of Il Messaggero, it would seem so: Marco Bizzarri, who resigned just yesterday as CEO of Bottega Veneta, could be the new candidate to fill the position of co-CEO of Luxottica. After the resignation of two managing directors within a month (currently the delegation is ad interim to the chairman Leonardo Del Vecchio), now this hypothesis would be making its way.

Bizzarri has left the post of CEO of the brand belonging to the Kering group to Carlo Beretta, coming from the Zegna group. The indiscretion, currently not confirmed by official sources, does not warm up the markets much: at the opening of the session the Luxottica title travels just above parity in Piazza Affari, gaining 0,2% a 37,04 euros. The eyewear group's stock has been on a roller coaster in recent weeks after the owner of Luxottica, Leonardo Del Vecchio, remained focused on the reorganization of Delfin, the parent company of the eyewear group, over which a "family matter" has arisen ”.
