Luxottica, record growth even without Guerra. Flying profits and revenues

Luxottica, record growth even without Guerra. Flying profits and revenues

Those who feared that Andrea Guerra's farewell would interrupt Luxottica's growth should think again. Last year's buttery divorce from patron Leonardo Del Vecchio of the manager who accompanied the development of the eyewear multinational for years did not stop Luxottica's run.

In the second half of 2015, the Agordo-based company achieved record growth: +19,3% for revenues, equal to 2,45 billion, and +25% for net profit, which amounts to 295 million euros. The operating profit, which is 500 million, is up 26,3%.

Consequently, the net profit for the first half of 2015 closed at 505 million, with a jump of 28,7% at current exchange rates.

The satisfaction of the new CEOs, Adil Khan and Massimo Vian, is legitimate, commenting: “We look at the second half of 2015 with confidence and optimism. The results of the first seven months, with the month of July supported by an excellent summer season, allow us to confirm the outlook for the whole of 2015”.
