Luiss, the Bruno Visentini Foundation is born

The naming ceremony of the Bruno Visentini Foundation took place this morning at the Luiss University of Rome. Present at the appointment were, among others, the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, and the President of Confindustria, Emma Marcegaglia.

The meeting was an opportunity to comment on recent developments in the Italian political landscape. "The Head of State has more than opportunely given the job to Professor Mario Monti - underlined the number one of the industrialists - to avoid Italy from a painful and traumatic as well as undeserved expulsion from the euro and from the markets". Marcegaglia concluded by thanking President Napolitano "from the bottom of my heart" for the role he has played so far.
