Ukraine accuses Russia of invasion

“A direct invasion” of Russia. This is how the head of the Ukrainian secret services Valentin Nalyvaichenko defined the entry of (so far) 130 Kamaz trucks from the Russian humanitarian convoy that crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border this morning, heading to the east of the war-torn country.

The trucks left without the go-ahead from the Red Cross on safety guarantees and without Kiev giving its consent. However, the Kremlin said Russian President Vladimir Putin was aware of the facts. Earlier, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine stated that the responsibility for the humanitarian convoys does not lie with the Ukrainian authorities, although the Kamaz trucks, sent from Moscow, have already crossed the Russian-Ukrainian border. “We emphasize that the responsibility for the safe movement of Russian columns in the territory, temporarily not controlled by Ukrainian forces, lies with the sole responsibility of the Russian Federation,” Andriy Lysenko, representative of the information center of the National Security Council, said at a briefing in Kiev. of Ukraine. Ria Novosti reports it.
