Telecom Italia Mobile accelerates with super-fast Internet on the move, confirming its leadership in 4G in Italy. In fact, the number of Italian municipalities already reached by the new LTE (Long Term Evolution) mobile network rises to 713 for outdoor coverage equal to over 52% of the population nationwide, which will reach around 80% by 2016. 2014 all municipalities with more than 4 inhabitants will be reached with the 35G network.

The Tim services based on LTE technology are the result of Telecom Italia's investments in technological innovation (fixed networks, mobile networks and cloud computing), amounting to over 3,4 billion euros in the three-year period 2014-16, confirming the company's desire to make increasingly modern infrastructures available and able to offer new technologically advanced services that meet the needs given by the growing amount of traffic generated by mobile phones, memory sticks, smartphones and tablets.

With the extension of the new LTE network, which allows data transmission at speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s in download and up to 50 Mbit/s in upload, TIM's "ULTRA Internet 4G" offer is enhanced for consumer and business customers, which concerns navigation from Smartphones, Tablets and PCs with key, characterized by higher service levels and data traffic bundles compared to 3G standards, as well as by Tim Cloud services and the bouquet of exclusive contents that value the highest network performance.
