In the nine months, profit grew to 126,6 million from 51,1 million, while revenues rose to 2,15 billion from 1,67 billion – Total revenues from the Italian businesses grew by 54,8% in the quarter , to 458,5 million.

Lottomatica closes the third quarter with growing numbers and confirms the targets, revised upwards last July. Revenues rose by 34,2% to 740,9 million, while Ebitda increased by 18,7% to 237 million. Net income was $58,5 million, compared with a loss of $13,2 million a year earlier. In the nine months profit increased to 126,6 million from 51,1 million, while revenues rise to 2,15 billion from 1,67 billion.

“The third quarter demonstrates the sustainability of the drive recorded in the first half – commented CEO Marco Sala -, we are confident that the new guidance correctly balances risks and growth prospects”.

The total revenues of the Italian activities grew in the quarter by 54,8%, to 458,5 million. Instant lottery wagers rose by 11,7% to 2,39 billion, Lotto wagers increased by 37,7%, reaching 1,75 billion. The group's debt improved at the end of September to 2,8 billion, from 2,98 billion at the end of 2010.

Despite these numbers, at the end of the morning the Lottomatica share lost 2,6% on the stock market.
