These are the new measures being studied by the Government, which however has not yet taken a definitive decision: there will first be a discussion with the Technical-Scientific Committee and then with the Regions. Among other things, another of the measures at risk, even if so far not feared, is precisely that of moving from one region to another.
In short, the government's squeeze, made necessary by the new surge in infections, is ready and also concerns other aspects: a ceiling of thirty people for guests invited to weddings, baptisms and confirmations (the measure affects celebrations, but not religious ceremonies, which other rules already fixed); more smart-working and, perhaps, a reduction in public transport capacity, so far at 80%; and finally, important news if validated this afternoon by scientists, ten days of quarantine – instead of the fourteen currently foreseen – for the close contacts of the positives.
