American employment is booming but for now it is not warming up the Stock Exchanges

Despite the impressive and above-expected growth of American employment, the reactions of the Stock Exchanges are for now cautious – Futures moderately rising on Wall Street – Frankfurt and Paris in negative territory in Europe, Milan, London, Madrid and Lisbon above parity.

They come from Washington excellent news on the US job market, but the data beyond expectations is not enough to warm up the Stock Exchanges. Indeed, after a sluggish morning, the main European price lists corrected further, albeit slightly, having evidently already discounted the positive numbers arriving from the USA. 

In the early afternoon Business Square it is still the pink jersey in Europe, with an increase of 0,34%. Negatives Frankfurt (-0,44%) And Paris (-0,57%), on parity London (+ 0,10%).

Milan's performance can mainly be explained by the positive data on the manufacturing sector. Second PMI indices for April published today by Markit, the Italian data (54 against the previous 52,4) is the best for 36 months. Only Ireland, in the eurozone, has done better.

As for Wall Street, S&P 500 futures rose 3,50 points, 0,19%, Nasdaq futures rose 8 points, 0,22%, while Dow Jones futures rose 17 points, 0,10%. 

On the M&A front, the Pfizer's relaunch on Astrazeneca it did not pass the examination of the board which rejected the American offer, raised to 50 pounds per share for a total of 63,1 billion pounds, judging it "inadequate".

At Piazza Affari fly there Banca Popolare di Milano (+3,03%) in view of next capital increase: on Wednesday evening the management board fixed the price of the capital increase at 0,43 euro per share in the ratio of 9 new shares for every 25 held. 

among other banks Unicredit -0,08% Understanding -0,24% Mount Paschi flat. In evidence Fiat (+1,38%) later the good data on Chrysler's sales in America: +14% in April against a market growth of 8%. In the afternoon they will have released the data of the Italian registrations.

Enel +0,59%, UBS revised its target price to 4,9 euros from 4,25, confirming the Buy judgment. 

Enel Green Power +0,68%. This morning, Barclays analysts raised their target price on the stock by 9% to €2,4, citing expectations of strong growth thanks to the plan to install new plants, the decline in risk scenario and good cash generation .

Saipem marks an increase of 1,87% after announcing a contract worth 1,8 billion dollars for work in the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan. Among other things, the contract provides for the laying of over 360 km of pipelines, submerged support services and the upgrading of installation means. The parent company Eni is down by 0,11%. 

Tenaris rose by 0,5% after slightly better than expected results. The world leader in the production of seamless pipes for the oil and gas sector closed the first three months of the year with a net profit of 428 million dollars, compared to 423 million in the same period of 2013. 

Avanza sapphire (+4,69%): Mediobanca raised its rating to Outperform from the previous Neutral.
