THEInternational Affairs Institute (IAI) is the only Italian think tank to appear among the top hundred in the world, in the ranking drawn up annually by a specialized organization. The result, which confirms the national primacy of the Iai, is a recognition of the commitment and quality of work of all the institute's staff.
The 2013 Global Go to Think Tank Index report was published last week and consists of some global rankings and numerous sectoral rankings, by skills and/or geographical areas, drawn up on the basis of a dense network of contacts and reports. In particular, by focusing on the most global and prestigious lists, the Iai results in:
– the only Italian institute among the top hundred in the general classification of the Top Think Tanks Worldwide (US and non-US), where it is in 92nd place;
– the first Italian among the Top Think Tanks in Western Europe, where he is 29th;
– the first and only Italian Institute to appear in the sectoral rankings for Foreign Policy and International Affairs (25th) and Defense and National Security (26th), two traditional strengths of the institute.
