Beppe Grillo alongside Filippo Nogarin, the M5S mayor of Livorno reached yesterday by a guarantee notice regarding the investigation into the waste management of the Tuscan city. “We support you, we are with you. Hold on, we won't leave you alone”, Grillo allegedly told Nogarin in a phone call.
“As I had already foreseen in recent days – Nogarin wrote on Facebook – this morning I received a notice of guarantee linked to the request for composition with the Aamps of Livorno completely identical to that of councilor Lemmetti. I don't know the specific dispute yet. I am firmly certain that I have always acted for the good of the company and of the people of Livorno", but "if conduct contrary to the principles of the M5S were to emerge during the preliminary investigations, I am ready to resign".
