Ireland liquidates the crisis bank

The Irish Parliament, with 113 votes in favor and 36 against, approved the special legislation which puts the former Anglo Irish Bank into liquidation, the institute which, in fact, dragged the country into the crisis, forcing, due to the heavy losses, the Government to guarantee the entire Irish financial system and to subsequently ask for the bailout of the ECB and the IMF.

Under the new law, the bank's assets will be transferred to Nama, the National Asset Administration Agency which takes care of the "toxic" loans granted by Irish banks. In this way, the government is trying to lighten its debt with Frankfurt, which is allegedly evaluating, in the light of this news, the plan of the Irish government, led by Enda Kendy, for the refinancing of the debt, a plan which would allow Dublin to repay more gradually .
