Gasperini's Inter wants Palacio but does not convince Pandev and must defend Lucio from Chelsea

INTER “PRESSA” PANDEV.
IF LUCIO LEAVES, WILL SILVESTRE ARRIVE?

Yesterday was supposed to be Rodrigo Palacio's day at Inter, but we'll have to wait a little longer for the official announcement. The problem is that Genoa keeps asking for Goran Pandev (something Enrico Preziosi reaffirmed last night), who however doesn't really want to move to the Lanterna. And so Inter, who are trying to convince the Macedonian to accept Preziosi's court (with poor results, given that Carlo Pallavicino, his agent, declared to 7Gold that "Goran wants to remain Nerazzurri"), find themselves blocked. There would be an alternative, but that alone is not enough. Genoa likes Mc Donald Mariga a lot, and Inter would be willing to sacrifice him (even if Gasperini would be sorry). But the Kenyan midfielder is worth less than Palacio, so there are two possibilities: either Moratti adds an economic counterpart, or another player. And here Viviano comes back into play, the great fool of this early summer. We'll see, in the meantime there is one certainty: Palacio will become an Inter player. It remains only to understand when.
On the sales front, however, Chelsea's courtship of Lucio continues. The Brazilian, who has been in talks with Branca for a contract renewal for some time, could join Villas Boas in London. Inter don't want to sell him, but if Abramovich's offer were to be convincing (and for now it isn't) they would already have an alternative ready. It is Matias Silvestre, 26 years old, Catania's central defender who grew up in Boca Juniors (with whom he won 3 championships, 2 South American Cups and a Libertadores). In any case, the nerazzurri consider Lucio the first choice, even if he does not renew his contract (concept reaffirmed by Branca to Sandro Becker, his agent). But to understand how the story will go, we will have to wait for the end of the Copa America.

DANILO OPENS AT MILAN.
HAMSIK CASE, EVERYTHING IS SILENT.

After the market rumors of the last few days, Santos' right winger broke the delay. “I'm happy that the Santos president appreciates my work, but I also have to think about myself and my financial independence. There is still a lot to sort out. It's hard to say whether I would be willing to stay or not. There is the possibility of leaving, so we will talk about it”. Clear words: Danilo can't promise Santos that he will stay simply because it won't be like this. The interested clubs are Milan and Benfica, and some say that Juventus would also have their eyes on him. The most concrete so far have been the Portuguese, who presented an offer of 6,6 million to Santos. Milan, on the other hand, is at a standstill, because first we will have to wait for the meeting in the Football Federation scheduled for July 5th. If the rules on non-EU registrations are changed that day, then the Rossoneri will be able to sink the blow on Danilo (the same goes for Juve, at the moment however concentrated on other objectives). Meanwhile, after a week of continuous storm, yesterday was the first day of calm on the Hamsik front. The player has played his cards (3 rather explicit interviews, one in Slovakia and two in Italy), now he is waiting quietly to see what will happen. Milan for its part feigns detachment, aware that in this phase the "dirty work" is up to Mino Raiola (the best in the sector). Napoli parries the blows, but, beyond the facade declarations, begins to look around to replace the Slovak.

JUVE, THE BRITISH WANT AGUERO
MAROTTA SPEEDS UP THE TIMES

Chelsea and Manchester City try to take him, but Juventus have a clear advantage. El Kun Aguero is the object of desire of the three aforementioned clubs, but Marotta can still feel comfortable at the moment. You have to hurry though, because when it comes to money sometimes the words given fail. In this case, then, there is a lot of money, and since Abramovich and Sheikh Mansour can boast greater economic availability, it is therefore better for Juve to close as soon as possible. On Tuesday Marotta will fly to Madrid, where Giuseppe Bozzo (Zarate but also Motta's attorney) has been since yesterday. Yes, because one of the technical counterparts to be included in the deal could be the Juventus full-back, just redeemed from Udinese and ready to leave. Another name is that of Storari (Atletico are looking for a goalkeeper after the sale of De Gea to Manchester United), while it seems unlikely that Sissoko and Felipe Melo will enter the negotiation. Because the Colchoneros first of all want money (35-40 million). And Chelsea and Manchester City have them. That's why Marotta can't wait to embark for Barajas, hoping to return to Italy with the contract of the Argentine ace in his pocket. Meanwhile, the official announcement has arrived for Stephan Lichtsteiner. The Swiss full-back has signed a 4-year contract, the Bianconeri will pay Lazio 10 million euros.

ROME – STEKELENBURG, DEPENDS ON GIFTS.
FUTURE VUCINIC, DECIDED DURING THE WEEK.

Marteen Stekelenburg is one step away from Roma, Doni permitting. The meeting between Sabatini and the Ajax emissaries was positive: the negotiation will close at 8 – 8,5 million euros. With the Dutch goalkeeper, there is no problem about his salary, but Doni needs to be sold before closing the deal. The Brazilian full-back has had an offer from Liverpool, but is hesitating for now. In fact, the reds offer him a salary of 1,5 million, against the 2,5 that he now receives from Roma. This is why Sabatini is carrying out a real work of persuasion towards him: in this sense, the meeting scheduled for Monday with his attorney is decisive. If Doni goes to England within a few hours, Roma will close for Stekelenburg.
On the other hand, it is unlikely that Gael Clichy, Arsenal's left-back, will arrive in the capital. Roma had treated him a few days ago, and the agreement with the Gunners wasn't even too far away, but the inclusion of Manchester City would seem to have blown the bank. Sabatini still hopes for it, but against the colossus Mansour the match gets tough.
Meanwhile, the decisive moment for Mirko Vucinic's future is approaching. His agent Alessandro Lucci confirmed that the situation is delicate and will be resolved in the next few days. Juventus is waiting at the window, what is certain is that Conte explicitly asked to have the Montenegrin. Attention also to Inter, who are looking for an outside striker (in addition to Palacio) and who could come forward with interesting proposals.

NAPLES, DZEMAILI IS OFFICIAL.
DE LAURENTIIS DREAMS OF PANDEV.

Napoli has officially closed the purchase of Blerim Dzemaili from Parma. 9 million euros went to the ducals, in addition to the price tag of Blasi (on a permanent basis) and Santacroce (on loan with the right to buy half). Nice blow for Mazzarri, who however still wants another midfielder. Stand by Gokhan Inler, with whom there will be a resolution meeting shortly. At the moment it is difficult to get to Vidal, who is being courted by Juve and is looking for a rather high salary (3 million). Exactly the same as Goran Pandev, who doesn't want to leave Inter (see above) but whom many like, including Aurelio De Laurentiis. "I like the Macedonian a lot, but he depends on Inter, he has to pay us half a salary." Meanwhile, encouraging rumors about Javier Pastore are arriving from Palermo. Rosanero sporting director Sean Sogliano's half-sentence (“If they were to sell Hamsik….”) suggests that, perhaps, something could happen. More or less like for Ilicic, who likes it a lot and costs less, but which, at the moment, Palermo does not seem willing to sell.

KONKO – LAZIO, IT'S OFFICIAL!
ANNOUNCEMENT IS WAITING FOR CISSE'.

Contract until 2016, salary of 1,2 million per season. To Genoa 5 million euros, exactly half of what Juventus just collected for Lichtsteiner. Here they are the official figures of the Konko deal, the new Lazio player since yesterday. After passing the medical tests, the Frenchman therefore signed a contract with Claudio Lotito's club. Panathinaikos striker Djbril Cissè could soon do the same thing. In Greece they are sure, the Frenchman will be announced by Lazio in the next few days. On the other hand, Tuesday has been confirmed as Marchetti's day: he will undergo medical examinations and will become biancoceleste, the 5,2 million in the termination clause will go to Cagliari. In the meantime, Turkey believes Muslera's transfer to Galatasaray is imminent: the Uruguay goalkeeper would be convinced to accept the Turkish club, which would guarantee him a super salary of 2,5 million per season.
