Two Italians and a Canadian have been kidnapped in southern Libya. This was confirmed by the Farnesina, which is closely following the case.
The two Italians are workers of the Piedmontese company Con.I.Cos. and were engaged in the reconstruction of the runway of Ghat airport, in the province of Fezzan, near which they were kidnapped. The province is under the control of the US-recognized Government of National Accord
