Tensions between Qatar and Egypt over the Libyan crisis. Indeed, the Doha government recalled its ambassador to Cairo for "consultations" after the meeting of the Arab League on the Egyptian air raids against ISIS positions in Libya. During the meeting, the Egyptian delegate allegedly accused Qatar of supporting terrorism, thus triggering a reaction from Doha.
Meanwhile, Egyptian President Al Sisi defends his actions, rejecting all accusations relating to the bombing: “It is important to make it clear that Egypt is not an aggressor country. Our army intervenes only to defend a land and a people and not to take possession of it”.
