Europe of taste in a weekend: the Slow Food Guide is here

After Italy in a weekend, published a year ago, the Slow Food Guides are launching "All of Europe in a weekend" a tourist and gastronomic guide at the same time to discover our continent from a new perspective that offers 33 original itineraries designed to a short stay, from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, all accompanied by maps and useful addresses.

Already available online, the Guide arrives in bookstores on April 4th. “There are not only the great European capitals – warns the publisher – here told from a new point of view, but also small towns and territories where the greatest wines in the world are produced.

A compendium of ideas to arouse the curiosity of readers and ignite the desire to leave: from the punk culture district of Berlin to the cellars where the Port is born, from the parks of Ljubljana to the bazaars of Istanbul".

The authors suggest alternative itineraries to the more well-known ones, pointing out taverns, cellars, breweries, artisan shops of taste, curiosities, restaurants, markets, farms where you can have lunch, find a good bottle, sleep or buy products resulting from the mapping of the territories by trained teams of collaborators, always inspired by the Slow Food philosophy and world of good, clean and fair.
