#LET'S GET BACK FOR HAND: initiative to start again after the Covid

The health emergency seems under control, at least that of overcrowded or insufficient intensive care units. However, we will carry the consequences of this pandemic with us for a long time. Not only economically but also socially.

In this regard, the initiative was born #LET'S GET BACK FOR HAND, by the non-profit association Pronto Soccorso per le Famiglie APS with the support of the Chiesi Group - an international research-oriented group in the pharmaceutical sector - whose purpose is to support both the psychological and/or legal level all the families of the victims of the Coronavirus and healthcare/hospital staff.

The project will start on June 10th and will be implemented throughout the country, especially in the areas most affected by the pandemic: Emilia Romagna, Lombardy and Veneto.

Thanks to #LET'S GET BACK, all those who feel the need will be able to take advantage of the free advice from expert psychologists and lawyers to facilitate the elaboration of the traumatic experience, favor recovery in the resumption of everyday life, counteract the loneliness linked to loss and mourning, process loss and separation, favor acceptance for not having shared the moment of death and legally support people in difficulty.

All favored by the creation of virtual listening and individual support desks with the possibility of carrying out psychological and legal counseling remotely, together with a course of 10 psychotherapies and the possibility of participating in training workshops and psychoeducational groups.

An initiative especially for those who have experienced the most critical aspects of the epidemiological emergency on their own skin, such as the staff in the ward with exhausting shifts and in the most total unpredictability due to the lack of knowledge of the new pathogen and its treatment.

And precisely this professional impotence was also accompanied by the state of isolation of the patients, who in many cases left without being able to say goodbye to their family members.

To access the service you can call the number + 39 3515644001 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 to 13, while Tuesday and Thursday from 16 to 19. Alternatively, you can send a request via whatsapp or via email to info@riprendiamocipermano.it.

It is a real one Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) that should not be underestimated, and the need for support to work through mourning which, if not treated adequately and promptly, could lead to sometimes extreme consequences.
