Les Echos: Bonomi, takeover bid of 21 euros per share on Club Med

According to the French financial newspaper Les Echos, the Italian financier Andrea Bonomi, owner of Investindustrial, presented the counter-tender offer for the world number one Club Med holiday village in good time: the offer, whose terms expired today at 18pm, is 21 euros per share, much higher than the 17,5 euros already formulated by the French-Chinese duo Ardian-Fosun, already the reference shareholders of the transalpine group with overall shares of almost 20%.

The offer is therefore close to 800 million euros: to put them on the plate, Bonomi is acting with a consortium of tourism professionals, including the South African group Sol-Kerzner.
