A profit of half a billion. To much, according to Leonardo's number one Mauro Moretti the profits of the Italian aerospace and defense multinational will amount in 2016. It would be double the value recorded in 2015, when the company's profits stopped at 230 million euros.
Even in light of these results Leonardo, according to its CEO, “intends to invest and grow its businesses”. Especially in the United Kingdom, Dove Moretti spoke during a press conference in London dedicated to the merger of the realities present in the United Kingdom which led to the birth of Leonardo Mw.
The new entity will operate in one of the reference markets especially for the helicopter division, it has 7.100 employees in the United Kingdom and will continue, according to Moretti's words, the fruitful collaboration that has linked us to the British armed forces for over 100 years".
Furthermore, yesterday the company published a statement in which it denied its alleged involvement in the case relating to computer interceptions.
At the moment, in the late morning, the Leonardo stock loses about 0,15%. Yesterday, also due to some concerns related to investments in the United Kingdom, while the possible effects of Brexit still need to be assessed, the stock lost more than 3%. Nonetheless, analyst recommendations are mostly positive.
