Leonardo has signed the renewal of the distribution agreement with Sloane Helicopters, its main partner on the British and Irish market.
The two companies signed the new agreement at the EBACE Show, currently taking place in Geneva. The agreement takes the form of the extension of the distribution agreement in the period 2019-2021 for the AW109 GrandNew, AW109 Trekker and AW169 models in VIP configuration, with a forecast of sale of at least 8 helicopters by 2021, as stated in the note Leonardo's officer.

The partnership with Sloane has led to the sale of approximately 80 helicopters since 1995: the new AW109 Trekker has already registered 3 sales orders. The AW109 GranNew and the AW109 Trekker share the same characteristics in terms of power, rotors, the largest cab in the category and the best performance in terms of top speed. GrandNew and Trekker present at the same time a different digital avionics suite and, in the first case, the retractable landing gear and, in the second, the skids.
