Leonardo and Ansaldo Energia have signed an agreement in the context of the "Lighthouse Plant" project, one of the first four "Intelligent Factories" envisaged by the Mise's Industry 4.0 Plan. The initiative is promoted by the Intelligent Factory Cluster and financed by the Ministry of Economic Development and the regions to which it belongs.
In detail, Leonardo's contribution will consist of the system integration and supply of technologies for making plants safe and advanced monitoring services provided by Leonardo's Security Operation Center in Chieti.
Ansaldo Energia's "Intelligent Factory" is one of the first four Lighthouse Plants envisaged in the MISE's Industry 4.0 Plan, which aims to implement, in the three-year period 2018-2020, an industrial Research & Development plan aimed at introducing advanced digital applications in scope of production processes.
