The second edition of the is about to begin Business Innovation Factory (BIF),startup accelerator di Leonardo realized in partnership with Venture Group.
The goal of the BIF is to select up to ten startups per year, over the three-year period of the programme, for a total of 30 able develop innovative solutions to help expand Leonardo's range of digital services.
It's possible apply directly online on the site www.leonardoaccelerator.com until March 24th. A promotional roadshow of the edition is planned which will stop in Naples, Milan, Tel Aviv, London and Munich.
Innovation in two specific sectors
They are two areas of interest of this edition. The first sector is that of simulation and gamification: startups will have to develop realistic scenario and digital twin solutions to improve the analysis, planning and management of critical missions, and serious gaming solutions for remote simultaneous training applications. The second camp is the networking & cybersecurity: here it will be necessary to find IoT cybersecurity solutions and communication infrastructures based on software, Zero-Trust Security applications, data protection and cryptography, Active Defence, quantum communication and quantum computing.
During the acceleration phase, there is the possibility for startups to develop un Proof of Concept (PoC) directly with the different business unit by Leonardo.
The accelerator program for selected startups will have a duration of six months and will be held in the Business Innovation Factory spaces at theLVenture Group Hub of Rome, one of the main innovation poles at European level.

THEBIF accelerator It is part of strategic growth plan Be Tomorrow 2030 to encourage sharing ideas and knowledge, fueling development opportunities for new technological solutions and promoting collaboration between private and public.
The Business Innovation Factory already distinguished itself in the first edition as center of excellence for the development of technological solutions with high potential within the world of Italian innovation. In the first edition of the BIF are being received as well 170 applications, 41% coming from abroad.
