Leonardo, agreement with banks and Cdp for the supply chain

Leonardo has signed a memorandum of understanding with BNL BNP Paribas Group, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Intesa Sanpaolo and UniCredit under the “LEAP2020” program, aimed at improving the sustainability and performance of its supply chain. The latter provides for the analysis and segmentation of the supplier base, through an industrial and supply chain approach, to identify the Key Suppliers with whom to build partnerships through a collaboration model based on risk sharing and commitment to continuous improvement, supported by growth acceleration initiatives.

Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and the banking institutions BNL Group BNP Paribas, Intesa Sanpaolo and UniCredit individually or in synergy with each other and also through their respective product companies, they will promote operational tables with Leonardo aimed at researching and perfecting financial solutions to be offered to Leonardo's Key Suppliers to support them in the development of their activities and their growth plans also through acquisitions and mergers.

In line with the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, the memorandum of understanding represents a further step forward in the process aimed at building a solid and reliable supply chain in Italy in the Aerospace, Defense and Security (AD&S) sector and at improving the development of the entrepreneurial fabric, a fundamental element of the economic and industrial system nationally, promoting the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.
