Leonardo: compensation to Moretti for 9,4 million

Leonardo's board of directors, in the first meeting of the new Board held on 16 May, verified that the conditions exist for attributing to the former CEO and general manager Mauro Moretti a compensatory and compensatory indemnity equal to 9.262.000 euros in addition to the severance pay and the amount due in relation to the rights accrued as part of the participation in the short and medium-long term incentive plans, as reported in the Company's Remuneration Report. This was reported in a note from the group.

To this indemnity is added an amount of 180 thousand euros "in the face of specific waivers made" by Moretti "as part of the termination of the relationship". The company adds that "no non-competition restriction is envisaged following the termination of the relationship and, therefore, no consideration will be due in this respect".
