The no-tax area will not rise to 12 euros. The Pdl and Pd's proposal to exempt incomes of up to 12 euros a year from taxes did not find the necessary financial backing and was rejected by the Senate Budget Commission which is examining the Stability Law.
At this point, barring reversals in the Aula or the Chamber, the sentaori will change music and orient themselves in other directions. In particular, the idea of concentrating the available resources in reducing the tax wedge for the benefit above all of the lowest incomes, between 15 and 20 euros, seems to be gaining ground.
The hypothesis put forward by the PDL of selling beaches or sandy shores to raise cash also seems to have faded.
