Law 181/89, 208 applications for incentives have already been presented to Invitalia

The positive trend for the desk dedicated to non-complex crisis areas continues: another 129 questions are being filled out.

208 applications were presented to Invitalia 24 hours after the opening of the desk dedicated to the incentives provided for by law 181/89 for non-complex crisis areas. And the positive trend continues, given that 129 applications are already being filled out.

Some details on the 208 applications already presented: 178 (86%) come from the southern regions and almost half (111) from Campania alone. Sicily follows with 24 projects. The manufacturing sector is dominant with 125 applications, followed by business services (42
questions), tourism (27) and energy (14). 

As far as investment programs are concerned, the 208 applications translate into 931,6 million euros of investments, 634,6 million of subsidies requested and 2.619 jobs potentially created. We remind you that at the moment the available budget is
124 million euros, from the resources of the Fund for sustainable growth. Of these, 44 million euros are set aside for program agreements.

Law 181/89 finances investment projects exceeding 1,5 million euros for the expansion, restructuring and relocation of production plants that can be built in the 1.872 municipalities falling within the areas of non-complex industrial crisis, identified by the Mise Directorial Decree of 19 December 2016.

Companies of any size, established in the form of joint stock companies, can access the concessions. Requests for funding must be submitted exclusively online on the Invitalia platform and the preliminary investigation will not exceed 90 days.
