2013 has been a good year for debt financing so far. But a turbulent phase looms on the political front as the slowdown in the eurozone recovery threatens to rekindle doubts about long-term debt sustainability.
Thus arrives more timely than ever the conference promoted by Abi in Rome on 22 February starting at 17,30 pm, at the headquarters of Banca Finnat (palazzo Altieri, piazza del Gesù 49) which will be attended by Maria Cannata Bonfrate, Director of Public Debt of the Treasury Department who will speak on the topic: “Debt management in times of crisis and the prospects for the current year”.
The speech by Dr. Cannata, awarded the title of AIAF honorary member, will be followed by a round table entitled "Italy in the euro area, economic growth and public finance objectives" which will be attended by Vincenzo Chiorazzo (Chief Economist ABI), the macroeconomist Daniele Fano, Paolo Guida, Intesa Sanpaolo Retail Research Manager and GianFranco Traverso Guicciardi, Banca Finnat Studies Service Manager.
