Lavoro, the first Italian multi-brand of human resources is born

It is born WGroup, the first Italian multi-brand of Human Capital Solutions. Its creation is supported by the largest investment made in Italy in the sector of human resources services, carried out through a €300 million fund sponsored by ProA Capital and three private equity investors who will provide further investments to support the Group's expansion.

Specifically, the new group will cover all segments of the labor market: from staffing to head hunting, from middle management to training. The goal is to reach one billion in revenues within 4 years. Furthermore, the workforce is expected to double by 2022, thanks to the 400 new entries, reaching a total of 800 resources.

The first stage of this strategic path was the appointment of Federico Vione as CEO of Men At Work (MAWs), one of the most dynamic realities for work present in seven regions with 68 branches and a turnover of 270 million. The manager, for over 20 years at the helm of Adecco Italia, has taken the place of the founder Francesco Turrini who remains a shareholder and member of the Board of Directors to support the new phase of growth.

The second pass resulted in MAW and in InJob SpA., the international recruitment company of Verona, to launch a common development plan in anticipation of the official birth of the W Group.

The name immediately highlights two elements that are very dear to me: W is the initial of Work, which is basically the reason why this group was born: to give people a job that lives up to their expectations and companies the professionalism they serve; but W is also the initial of World, because we have the ambition to change the world of work, putting people at the centre”.

“Ours is not just a claim but a clear declaration of intent. The first concrete example of the closeness we want to demonstrate to businesses and people is the plan opening of 80 new direct branches throughout Italy, from North to South, which will have truly capillary coverage. We want to reach wherever there is work, creating a real social impact”, concluded Vione.
