The country in the Eurozone where the most people - in percentage terms - work, lends a hand to one of the most in difficulty on the employment market, especially youth. With the agreement signed today between the German Minister of Labour, Ursula von del Leyen, and her Spanish counterpart Fatima Banez, about 5 young Iberians, who are struggling as never before to find a job at home, will be able to take advantage of just as many opportunities every year permanent professional or training experiences in the German territory.
“Berlin's support – said Fatima Banez – has been decisive and sincere, and our collaboration in helping the younger generations will be very close. We will implement initiatives in both countries to combat a phenomenon that must concern all of Europe and not just the individual member states”. Spain, technically plunged into recession, is currently affected by an unemployment rate of over 27%, the all-time high, while in the 16-24 age group the percentage is even disarming: 57,22% according to the latest official data.
