The Ministry of Welfare today published the results of the supervisory activity carried out in the first half of 2013 by the Territorial Inspection Services and the Carabinieri Nuclei - 62% of the companies subjected to control were found to be irregular, with an annual increase of 22% in violations

Work, in partial tax evasion +117%

In the first six months of 2013, ascertained tax evasion increased by 117%, equal to over 260 million euro, while 62% of the companies subject to control were found to be irregular, with an annual increase of 22% in violations.

This was announced by the Ministry of Welfare which today published the results of the supervisory activity carried out in the first half of 2013 by the Territorial Inspection Services and by the Carabinieri Nuclei.

The figure for totally undeclared workers continues to be stable (+1%) while the phenomena of abuse in the use of flexible types of work that mask phenomena of subordinate work, such as project collaborations, non-genuine participation associations and fake VAT numbers.

In contrast, with a decrease of 25%, violations regarding working hours, a figure attributable to the contraction of hours.
