Work, the "curriculum tram" arrives in Milan

The initiative is by the Gi Group employment agency: from 17 to 24 October it is possible to board the vehicle for free, departing from Piazza Fontana.

Work, the "curriculum tram" arrives in Milan

Milan is a dynamic city, where everyone or almost everyone has a job, but that doesn't mean it won't be useful to give your curriculum vitae a makeover. To encourage and help citizens to do so, the Gi Group employment agency has devised a curious initiative: for a week, starting today 17 October, a traveling tram will tour the Lombard capital, starting from the terminus in Piazza Fontana, giving travelers the opportunity to review their curriculum vitae, totally free of charge. It will be possible to get on the "tram of the curriculum" at any time, until 24 October, from 11 to 16.30: in fact, to participate, all you have to do is get on the vehicle, with a symbolic free ticket delivered to the bus stop by Gi Group staff, and then let yourself be helped in an operation in which not all of us put the right attention.

On board the tram, a welcome coffee is first offered, and then the recruiters will dedicate the time of the ride to giving tips for reviewing the curriculum vitae, taking care of all the details starting from that – even more often underestimated – of the professional photo. A team of experts and photographers is also available to take – if the “traveler” wishes – a brand new photo to be included in the CV. The "resume streetcar" initiative is back after last year's experience, when hundreds of people agreed to have their resumes changed. Will it have worked?
