Work: 740 new jobs in the Public Administration by 2025

This is supported by an analysis by Unioncamere in collaboration with Anpal, which shows that in the private sector, however, the request should be between 1,7 and 2,1 million employees and 1-1,1 million self-employed workers

Work: 740 new jobs in the Public Administration by 2025

In the next five years the public administration Italian will need over 740 new jobs, of which 690 thousand just to replace those who will retire. In the private sectorinstead, the request should be understood between 1,7 and 2,1 million employees and 1-1,1 million self-employed workers: in the first case the turnover should concern around 1,2 million workers, in the second around 680 thousand. Consequently, approximately 70% of the job opportunities that will be created by 2025 will be linked to the replacement of personnel currently employed. The estimates are contained in an analysis by Unioncamere in collaboration with Anpal.

Overall, therefore, between 2021 and 2025 the private and public sectors could express a need of between 3,5 and 3,9 million workers, of which 2,6 million for the need to replace personnel now at work and 900 -1,3 million units for the growth of the employment stock due to the economic expansion.

The highest average annual growth rates are evident in the supply chains "IT and Telecommunications","finance and consultancy"and "health” (which includes both the pharmaceutical and biomedical industrial sectors and public and private social-health services).

For the services between 2021 and 2025, it is estimated that there will be an employment requirement of between 2,8 and 3 million units, almost 80% of the total, while the demand forindustry will amount to 660-726 thousand employed and that of theagriculture at 110-130 thousand units.

From the analysis by supply chain it emerges for "trade and tourism” a demand for employees between 568 and 698 units, over half determined by the need for turnover of trade workers alone.
