2015 is off to a good start the car market in Europe. In January, according to data released by Acea, new car registrations in the old continent and EFTA countries exceeded one million units, for a growth of 6,2% on year. The best performances were made in Spain (+ 27,5%) and Italy (+10,9%). Great Britain (+6,7%) and France (+6,2%) also did well, while in Germany the increase was just 2,6%.

The analysis by single brand shows a growth of 3,6% for Fiat, with over 47 registrations. Lancia / Chrysler, on the other hand, registered almost 5,600 cars, recording a decrease of 18,8%. The sales of the brand are also declining Alfa Romeo (-11,1%). The real star continues to be Jeep, which begins 2015 with record growth levels: in January, with 5.900 cars registered, the leap over the year reaches 164%, with a market share tripled to 0,6%.
