The European stock markets seem to remain on the sidelines for a while, waiting to know the new decisions of the American Central Bank tomorrow, even if the optimism of Wall Street, with the Dow Jones updating its records, in the end infects a little even the squares of the Old Continent. Madrid +0,39%; London +0,3%; Paris +0,16%; Zurich +0,57%. The weakest is Frankfurt +0,02%, but still at its historical highs, with German business confidence (Zew index), in September, growing well beyond expectations. The higher opening of New York allows Donald Trump, speaking at the UN, to boast the rally of the markets and the increase in employment since the day of his election. The American price lists remain solid even after the words on North Korea: "if they attack us - says the tenant of the White House - we have no choice but to destroy them". 

Oil down slightly, Brent -0,34%, 54,89 dollars a barrel. Nearly flat gold, $1308,88 an ounce. The euro appreciates by 0,19% against the dollar, over 1,197.

On the secondary side, Italian paper is well bought, the 2,12-year yield drops to 0,54%, while the spread with the Bund shrinks by 166.20%, 26 points. Waiting to know the decisions of the Fed and to hear from Janet Yellen tomorrow, we start talking about the October XNUMX meeting of the ECB. According to Reuters, within the board there is still no agreement on the opportunity to set, as early as next month, a precise date to end the 'quantitative easing'. Therefore, the chances of a postponement increase.

In Piazza Affari, the session closed with clear gains for Brembo, Fiat +1,21% and Cnh +1,06%. Among the banks Bper +1,94% is still the best today. Brilliant session for A2 +1,87%.

At the bottom of the list, however, are the stocks linked to Vivendi: Telecom, -which held an extraordinary meeting today, after having denied the stew rumors yesterday; Mediaset -1,56%.

In luxury, the worst is Moncler, -1,17%, downgraded by Morgan Stanley to "equal-weight" from "overweight". The stock, according to the bank, should take a breather after having grown by 50% since the beginning of the year. Among financials, Unipol -0,63% and Poste - 0,89% are weak.

Out of the main basket, note the excellent performance of Piaggio, +5,45%, following the strategic agreement with the Chinese Foton Motor Group for the development of light commercial vehicles. Landi Renzo's rally continues +13,81%. Flat Fincantieri -0,1%, while the minister Carlo Calenda is confident in the agreement for Stx: ​​"I hope in a good solution for all and in a European perspective, I think we will make it".
