Italy Independent signs a 4-year agreement with Adidas and Lapo Elkann's company immediately takes off on the Stock Exchange, where it stands out as the best stock of Aim Italia and is suspended due to an excess increase after a theoretical increase of 9,5% at 30 euros (only to then resume trading and continue to gain ground).
In detail, the agreement provides that the brand of Lapo Elkann will develop, produce and distribute Originals eyewear products for Adidas. The agreement was signed after the success of the eyewear collection inspired by the iconic sneaker, the Superstar, launched in March this year. The experts of Equita (which operates as Nomad) believe that with this agreement Italian Independent could aim to relaunch the Adidas eyewear segment which could be worth a few million euros in Wholesale revenues.

According to the CEO and co-founder of the company, Andrea Tessitore, the collaboration “assigns to Italy Independent a role of strategic partner. Italy Independent was chosen for its research, development and design achievements and the agreement goes beyond the classic licensing model. Thanks to their specific technical characteristics, and in particular to the new digital printing technology”, explains Tessitore, “the new adidas Originals eyewear collections will be completely in line with the Adidas product offer”.
