Landi Renzo: ok to the reorganization of Lovato Gas

Landi Renzo receives the go-ahead from the unions on the reorganization of the subsidiary Lovato Gas, as envisaged in the Strategic Plan presented last September 2017.

The Landi Renzo Group expresses “full satisfaction with the agreement reached with the trade union organizations and intends to thank the Councilor for Education, Training and Labor Policies of the Veneto Region, Elena Donazzan, as an institutional counterpart who has actively contributed to promoting a constructive dialogue between the various parties involved”.

The agreement provides for the safeguarding of a line dedicated to LPG reducers, the company's flagship product, which "will make it possible to respond effectively to a LPG market with interesting stable prospects in Europe and in the Italian market". Lovato Gas after the reorganization will have a total of 23 employees, compared to the 90 previously employed and in line with the activity that will be carried out.

The agreement contributes to the reduction of the cost structure envisaged in the 2018-22 plan and "to redesign the footprint production at a global level, significantly ahead of schedule".

Landi Renzo is therefore continuing along the path started in recent months with a view to business growth, starting with the launch of the new range of CNG (compressed natural gas) and LNG (liquefied natural gas) reducers for medium and heavy vehicles (vans, pickup trucks, etc.). The other element was the aggregation of the subsidiary SAFE with Clean Energy Compression, from which the second largest operator in the sector was born globally in the segment of solutions for methane infrastructure and for the exploitation of biomethane.

The share of the company, world leader in the sector of methane and LPG supply systems and components for motor vehicles, shares 1,606 euros (-0,62%) at 12,16 in Piazza Affari.
