After the OK from Borsa Italiana, that of Consob has also arrived: the listing on Piazza Affari of Sab, the company that manages Gugliemo Marconi Airport in Bologna, it's done. Bologna thus returns to the arena of Palazzo Mezzanotte 12 years after the Hera operation, the multi-utility of the Emilian capital.

The European road show, from London to Frankfurt, will start immediately from Monday to win over foreign investors. "We are happy, it is a historic day for the city," commented the president of the Chamber of Commerce, Giorgio Tabellini, dominus of the operation and majority shareholder of the company.

The listing will allow the airport to raise fresh resources to invest in its expansion and public shareholders - Municipality, Metropolitan City and Region - to raise cash by selling their shares. The province will maintain a share of around 35% and therefore control of the airport. "We are completing a major operation", continues Tabellini, convinced that the capital of Emilia "must go more and more towards operations of this type such as the Stock Exchange".

Trading, barring surprises, should start around mid-July, before the markets go on holiday. Mouths remain kitchens on the initial price of the stock, even if the reports of some analysts, such as Banca Imi, currently value the SAT in a range ranging from 4,8 to 6,3 euros per share (but the shareholders are aiming for a slightly higher target). According to the financial agency MF Dow Jones the capital increase of Sab could reach up to 50 million euros
