Financial sources confirm that the final go-ahead came today during the Telecom Italia Media board meeting, which lasted about three hours. “The climate of the meeting was serene”, said only Irene Bignardi, member of the board.
Shortly before, Gad Lerner had released an explicit tweet: "It's done, Telecom sells La7 to Urbano Cairo". On the board table, in addition to the decision on La7, also the 2012 budget and the industrial plan for 2015.
