In two weeks the games on La7 should close. This is what the CEO of Telecom Italia Franco Bernabè hopes regarding the timing of the negotiations on La7 with Urbano Cairo. "I hope it will be concluded in a couple of weeks", said the manager, explaining that Cairo's offer "is the best" and for this reason it was chosen.
“Both with the Clessidra fund and with Cairo – he said – the contacts had reached a very advanced point also on the contractual aspects, now we need to define the latest conditions and close quickly because it is a sector in which there can be no uncertainty given the delicacy of management”. And Bernabè sees no problems with the broadcaster's pluralism: “I think it is ensured by Cairo, a pure publisher and this” guarantees the independence of the editorial line which ensured the success of La7″. For the CEO of telecom Italia, Cairo has bet on a very ambitious project” in whose service it has “an important tool such as an advertising agency”, a bet “destined to be won”.
