The story of Nando Gentile, the Maradona of basketball

Sante Roperto retraces, documents and deepens step by step in a new ebook published by goWare the evolution of Nando Gentile, one of the greatest champions of Italian basketball.

The book recalls when, in 2009, the Iberian magazine "Gigantes del Basket" dedicated an entire reportage to the history of the JuveCaserta, capable of interrupting the exploits of the great northern clubs in the XNUMXs, and wrote of Gentile: "He is the basketball equivalent of the Neapolitan Maradona".

And the memory of those years is perpetuated in the stories of those who lived through them, those who were lucky enough to be there, to get drunk in that big business atmosphere, to perceive how and how much a sporting event can involve an entire region enhancing their sense of identity and belonging. But Nando's growth continued successfully also in Trieste, in Milan, with a second championship, and in Athens with the victory in the Euroleague.

In the book Gentile dynasty. The man of the last shot (http://goware-apps.us3.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=7ab1016d11299598c2f9d3443&id=499b909a4f&e=c6046eece8), published by goWare, new edition, expanded and updated, of the fortunate “L'uomo dell'ultimo shooting" Sante Roperto retraces, documents and deepens Nando's evolution step by step, offering us the human and technical cross-section of one of the greatest champions of Italian sport. And the story does not end with Nando: the Gentile dynasty is now represented by his sons Stefano and Alessandro.
