On Monday 20 October, Sioi will celebrate its seventieth anniversary of foundation with the participation of the Head of State, Giorgio Napolitano, who will speak at the Palazzetto Venezia headquarters in Rome.
The president of the Republic will be welcomed by the president of Sioi, the former foreign minister, Franco Frattini, and will visit the photographic exhibition which illustrates the most significant stages in the history of Sioi, recalling, through images, the most eminent personalities and political protagonists Italian foreigner of the last 70 years.
Sioi, a non-profit organisation, which was founded in 1944, organizes courses for the training of young people who want to enter a diplomatic career and a master's degree in international relations and publishes a periodical magazine "The international community" on the most topical issues of international politics.
