Roma want to get back in the lead immediately against Udinese, Lazio in Bergamo

ROMANE CHAMPIONSHIP - Garcia's Giallorossi want to get back to the lead immediately by hosting Udinese without Di Natale in view of the weekend's big match with Inter - Lazio will try to stay in the top positions of the standings by debunking the away taboo but Bergamo finds the former Reja, a coach who knows her well.

A victory to take back the first place. After Inter's success, the Giallorossi are second again but have every intention of returning to the lead. To do so, they will necessarily have to beat Udinese within the friendly walls of the Olimpico, to then concentrate on Saturday night's direct match at the San Siro. Fairly easy match for Garcia's men, at least on paper. In fact, the Bianconeri from Colantuono, despite Sunday's victory against Frosinone, would not seem capable of creating many problems for the Giallorossi army.

All this provided that Roma play Roma, along the lines of what we saw in Florence and not in Borisov or Leverkusen. “The game that comes is always the most important, this time even more – explained Garcia in the press conference. – In the locker room we don't look at the standings but this is certainly the moment to accelerate. Our goal is to always win, race after race." The French coach focuses above all on the mental aspect, which is very important with the big match against Inter just around the corner.

Tonight, also by virtue of some forced absences (Salah and De Rossi, the latter also in doubt for Milan), the turnover will be almost obligatory. In defense, in front of Szczesny's goal, Florenzi, Manolas, Digne and one of Castan (favourite) and Rudiger will play. In midfield it will be Vainqueur's turn to replace De Rossi (the other two will be Nainggolan and Pjanic) while Salah's place will be occupied by Iago Falque, in a trident with Dzeko and Gervinho. A bit of turnover also for Colantuono, especially in attack.

In fact, Di Natale will be saved for the match against Sassuolo, with Thereau confirmed in his place with Bruno Fernandes in support. Bench also for Adnan and Lodi, the place in the midfield is played by Marquinho (favourite) and Iturra.

An important evening also for Lazio, looking for confirmation after the good victory over Turin which earned them third place in the standings, albeit in cohabitation with Napoli and Fiorentina. Up to now, the biancocelesti have scored points above all at home, while away they have only one win and three defeats. In short, the time has come for a qualitative leap in Bergamo, although the former Reja's Atalanta is always very difficult to beat against the Atleti Azzurri d'Italia.

“We want to try to play the game and control the game, if we succeed we will get the result – Pioli's analysis. – I can't explain what we've been missing so far away, I think it was above all a question of attitude. Now, however, we are more attentive and concentrated, with greater awareness of our qualities". The Biancoceleste coach should confirm the anti-Toro formation en bloc, therefore the ordinance 4-2-3-1 with Marchetti in goal, Basta, Mauricio, Gentiletti and Lulic in defense, Onazi and Biglia in midfield, Candreva, Milikovic and Felipe Anderson on the trocar behind Klose (favorite over Matri and Djordjevic).

Reja, forced to do without the suspended Toloi, will respond with the following 4-3-3: Sportiello in goal, Masiello, Stendardo, Paletta and Dramè in defense, Grassi, De Roon and Kurtic in midfield, Gomez, Pinilla and Maxi Moralez in attack.
